What'll happen is that god will poff up his followers, and let the world suffer through catastrophes, such as meteorites, and have the sea turn into blood, with all the nonbelievers in it. This was probably made to scare wimps into believing their religion.
The Reality
Our world is doomed regardledd. In 6.5 billion years, the sun will expand, encasing all the inner planets. Then it'll explode, destroying the solar system. But something can happen before that. There's a theory that the universe is expanding until it reached it's limit. When it does, it'll collaspe. And yes, "stars will fall through the sky".
